I was at a company event recently, and we set up a coloring activity for the kids. The little ones colored dutifully, but there wasn’t any real creativity—it was a bit boring. Then, somehow, I started encouraging them to draw—to color zombie flowers. That really got them going—blood, blood, and mold, plus dirt. Those were the terrifying things they drew. As an teacher, I was surprised by how much drawing scary things got them excited, especially since it was safe—they just had to color pre-drawn flowers to turn them into scary ones.
Halloween is coming, and you can do all sorts of spooky things, like coloring zombie flowers.
There will be Halloween events at the First Kis-Pest Garden, the Aranykatica Garden, and the Árnyas Garden.
